Welcome to the Early Years at Dame Bradbury’s. We look forward to getting to know you and your child.

We hope you find the following information helpful, please don't hesitate to contact us if you need further information.

Our aim

Our key aim is to provide a learning environment in which your child feels happy, safe and secure. When this is the case, children are naturally able to learn, discover, make friends, test boundaries and be creative.

We do this by knowing your child really well (their interests, experiences, friendships and personality). By understanding them, we provide activities and an environment in which they are stimulated and engaged.

Keeping in touch

We hope that you and your child have a very positive experience at Dame Bradbury’s. We welcome feedback from parents and carers, as it helps us to improve and maintain a safe, happy early years experience for our children.

An open, friendly relationship with parents helps us to ensure that every child settles in quickly.

Please feel free to speak to our Early Years staff when you drop off or collect your child. Should you need to speak to a member of staff at length or in private, please contact the school office and they will arrange a convenient time to meet.

For urgent messages please ring the school office, as emails are not constantly checked in school hours.

If you have a letter for us, please hand it to a member of staff personally or to the school office, rather than putting it in your child’s bookbag.

Please contact us if you have any questions
