Learning outside the classroom is a key part of learning in the PrePrep. Using a range of apps to help, the children are able to develop their learning and work collaboratively to produce a better outcome.

Learning outside the classroom is a key part of learning in the PrePrep. Having Cambridge as our campus enables us to use the surrounding area often to enrich our children's learning experiences.

When hunting for shields and crests the children were able to use the iPad camera tool to collect many images as we walked through the city. They used the zoom function to get a more focused image. On returning to the classroom the children can easily edit the images that they have captured and share their photos for the whole class to use via their class Googledrive account.

The children then collaborated to produce a popster to show their findings in Pic Collage. The competed posters can then be shared with other classes in the PrePrep through Googledrive share facilities and often the children ask for their work to be showcased via our PrePrep Twitter or Tumblr accounts, in their words..'to show the world what we are learning about!'
