Dame Bradbury’s pupils show social responsibility in Christmas appeal

Published on 11/12/19

This December we have once again supported the Uttlesford Foodbank in a collaborative reverse advent calendar.

This appeal is a way for families to give to others at Christmas, which can be a time of hardship for many. The aim is to allow the foodbank to give out over 120 Christmas hampers to people living in isolation or poverty across the region. Each child was asked to bring in a donation and the School Council helped sort and box up the very generous donations. Thank you to all of our families for supporting such a good cause in our community, demonstrating one of our very important learning habits: social responsibility.
