Dame Bradbury’s Year 4 Pupil’s action packed residential trip to Grafham Water

Published on 30/05/23

Grafham Water is England’s third largest reservoir and is nestled in 1500 acres of beautiful countryside and has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest for over 30 years.

Year 4 Junior School Dame Bradbury’s pupils experienced a week-long residential at Grafham Water. The week was packed with various outdoor and adventurous activities, including rock climbing, archery and sailing. The pupils worked on the key skills of working with others, developing teamwork communication and respect for others as well as developing outdoor activity skills. The pupils also enjoyed staying in the bell tents and took the ‘tidiest tent’ competition seriously!
