Dame Bradbury's and Fitzwilliam Building Junior Schools, along with other schools in Cambridgeshire, travelled to the Senior School to take part in a Music for Youth Regional Festival.

As part of our topic, Born Identity, we were studying British History. We looked at Primary and Secondary Sources and what these can tell us about the past. We focused on the Victorian period and chose one famous Victorian to research. Here is a sample of our work.

Year 8 student Isabeau H tells us all about the Hampton Court Palace Trip. 

Based on the traditional story ‘The Pied Piper of Hamelin’, our Year 9 production is a cautionary tale that feels quite relevant to a contemporary audience.

The Sixth Form History Society invited Professor Widdis from Cambridge University to share her knowledge and passion for Soviet era culture with all the Sixth Form Historians, introducing them to Russian propaganda and culture with a particular focus on film.

Last term, 2A enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum as part of their 'Paint me a Picture' theme. 

During the spring term, we have seen the welcome return of the Junior Schools STEM Competition, between teams of Year 5 and 6 pupils from the Fitzwilliam Building and Dame Bradbury’s.

The main highlight of the musical year is the Spring Concert at West Road Concert Hall, and this year’s concert, on Monday 14 March, featured more than a hundred student performers.
