This week, the Stephen Perse Foundation is pleased to be supporting the Independent School Council’s (ISC) Partnership Week, by celebrating our partnership with North Cambridge Academy (NCA).
Rosedale House and Dame Bradbury’s Junior Schools sent teams of five girls to take part in the Girls’ STEM Olympiad at Old Buckenham Hall School in Suffolk, competing against teams from seven other schools from the Eastern region.
The Stephen Perse Foundation will be taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge starting on #GivingTuesday, 30 November at midday and closing on 7 December.

On Thursday 11 November, Year 6 went to Latham Road for an Outdoor Learning session inspired by Remembrance Day.
Students in years 10 and 11 attended an interesting Inspire and Guide talk by Frank Paul.
The evening of Thursday 4 November 2021 marked the much anticipated return to live performances for the Drama department.
Year 4 enjoyed an active Collaboration Day at Dame Bradbury’s taking part in the Fire and Ice Olympics.
Students in years 10 and 11 attended a fascinating inspire and Guide talk by Dr Bronwyn Claire, Senior Programme Manager for ClimateWise at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
The SPF U19 Netball Team were crowned netball county champions after a string of excellent performances at the U19 County Schools Competition.
At the end of September our Year 2 pupils enjoyed a trip to Wandlebury Country Park.
Cyclocross is a mix of athletic endeavours, combining riding and running over a mixed course which could include tarmac, mud, sand, steps and barriers. Races typically last between 30 mins and one hour and the course is set out in laps.

Finally after a long two-year wait, Year 5 pupils were able to meet up again in person for a Collaboration Day.
Dame Bradbury’s had a very special visitor on Friday 8 October, BMX Olympic gold medallist at Tokyo 2020, Beth Shriever.
The Year 6 collaboration started with Mr Gildea’s inspiring talk of his yachting trip around the world. He amazed the pupils with his tales of how to cook and live on a boat when the seas were tumultuous. He also shared with us some incredible photos of his travels, including from the top of mountains, of coral reefs and of glaciers. Many of his slides captured very graphically how the delicate balance of our planet was being harmed by our actions living on it.
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Miss Mary Rose Bateman, Headmistress of The Perse School for Girls from January 1981 to March 1989.
Our Year 7s have had a brilliant first night on their residential trip, participating in beach games, film night and swimming.
Students at the Stephen Perse Foundation have once again achieved outstanding results in this year's GCSEs. 46% of all entries were graded at the highest grade 9.
