48 students awarded certificates in the Primary Maths Challenge

Gold, silver and bronze for Stephen Perse Foundation pupils in Primary Maths Challenge.

This year,  122 Year 5 & 6 pupils were entered into the Primary Maths Challenge across both Dame Bradbury's and the Junior School. Many of these pupils chose to voluntarily "have-a-go" in the spirit of SPF!

This primary maths competition is designed to "make pupils think outside the box" and it "encourages enthusiasm, boosts confidence in mathematics and shows the different way questions can be asked". However, it is meant to be a challenge and requires the pupils to really think about the problems and their answers.

We were delighted to be able to award 8 gold, 14 silver and 26 bronze certificates to pupils across both schools. We are still waiting to hear whether any pupils will be invited through to the bonus round in February, but we are very proud of all those who took part.
