Road safety lessons reinforced for Year 12

Published on 06/02/19

Year 12 students learnt valuable lessons about road safety from Cambridgeshire County Council and Police Constabulary.

Year 12 students at the Stephen Perse 6th Form College were reminded of important road safety lessons by a Cambridgeshire County Council Road Safety Officer on Tuesday 5 February. Serving members of the Cambridgeshire Police Constabulary and Fire Service also joined the seminar to reinforce these important messages. The students also had the opportunity to engage with a virtual driving experience platform to get a feel for what driving is really like.

The talk really helped the students to develop their understanding of the key dangers of driving, such as distraction and peer pressure, and learning how to build coping strategies to stay safe. More information about road safety and access to the online learning platform (Cambs Drive IQ) can be found here.
