Linguists are always looking for something to celebrate, eat, drink or talk about and every year in September we find a few days to celebrate modern languages in the name of the European Day of Languages.
Congratulations to Amelia H, who qualified for the 'Jumping with Style Arena Eventing' 90cm at the NSEA Championships in Buckinghamshire in October, where she placed 6th out of 107 competitors.

One of the ways in which we kick off the Autumn Term here at the Senior School is by marking National Poetry Day. This year, we were fortunate to be visited by two prized poets, Mark Grist and Lewis Buxton, who visited us on consecutive days and worked with students from Year 7 to Year 8.

This term has seen the start of another busy hockey term. Midweek and weekend fixtures have been in full flow from Year 7 to seniors with blocks against Bishops Stortford College and Bedford Modern bringing some good results.
