On Wednesday 30th January, students at the Stephen Perse Foundation in Cambridge had their career aspirations expanded with presentations from four high-flying individuals who have furrowed creative career paths in diverse industries, as part of the Foundation’s ‘Inspire Me’ programme.

‘Inspire Me’ has been designed by the school to broaden students’ horizons and ambitions through a rolling series of career and life story presentations from motivating speakers.

The panel of four speakers at ‘Creativity: From 4th plinth to 4G’ comprised Kate Sagovsky who works in live performance and runs Moving Dust, a company making cross-artform performance; Eleanor Roseblade, an award winning film producer turned communications and media researcher at the University of Westminster's CAMRI - rated as the best media and communication research centre in the UK; Eleanor Fawcett who works in urban design in London as Head of Design at London Legacy Development Corporation; and Charlotte Briscall who combined a degree in product design at Brunel with a career in digital, and is now Director of Design and Experience at Orange.

Tricia Kelleher, principal of the Stephen Perse Foundation, said: “Our school’s job is about so much more than helping our students achieve academic success. Our role is to broaden their outlook, deliver new experiences, and inspire them to aspire to great things, personally and professionally.”
