We are delighted to celebrate alumna, Jen Ellis (AG78), who has been appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the King’s Birthday Honours List 2026, for her outstanding services to cyber policy.
We were delighted to welcome alumna Gem Bowes (AG87) to a backstage club session on 17 June 2026. Gem originally trained in theatre set construction but, more recently, she has turned her creative skills to making rope, using traditional heritage craft techniques.
Bullies and Bystanders has been collected and edited by Anne Lee (AG39) and Janet Fife, both of whom have also written chapters. Guild member, Anne, is a social psychologist with expertise in understanding workplace bullying, particularly in churches and other religious groups. Janet is a retired Anglican priest and writer who has campaigned for some years on issues of abuse and Rowan Williams, former Archbishop of Canterbury, has written the Foreword.
As we celebrate our 145th anniversary here at Stephen Perse Cambridge, we are constantly inspired by the incredible paths our alumni take. We are delighted to share a fascinating update from Stephen Perse Guild member, Elisha Jhoti, now a PhD candidate in Planetary Science at UCLA, who is literally helping NASA reach for the stars (and the moon).
The governors are pleased to announce the appointment of the Stephen Perse Foundation’s new Principal. Stephen Ward, current Vice-Principal and Head of Senior School and Sixth Form, will take on the role from September 2026.
