Across our schools, we have developed a collaborative approach to leadership. Each Head leads their own school, whilst also engaging with colleagues to be leaders for the whole Foundation.
Having worked in secondary education for eight years, I am delighted to be joining The Stephen Perse Foundation as Head of the Sixth Form College. My previous experience of Sixth Form education includes working as Head of Enhancement and Enrichment, Sixth Form Tutor and UCAS adviser. As an English teacher, I enjoy sharing my interest in different periods of literature.
I am passionate about Sixth Form education and feel privileged to be working with bright and talented young people at this crucial stage of their educational journey. As Head of Sixth Form, I am committed to ensuring that each and every one of our students benefits from a supportive and enriching Sixth Form experience and feels well prepared for life beyond school.
The Foundation’s focus on the individual, within a caring and vibrant community, is central to my vision of education. As well as providing students with an excellent academic programme, the College places a high value on Enrichment and encourages all students to explore new areas of interest and play a full part in the wider life of the school.
Outside of the Sixth Form, I enjoy visiting the theatre, reading and writing. I also take a keen interest in politics.
