Across our schools, we have developed a collaborative approach to leadership. Each Head leads their own school, whilst also engaging with colleagues to be leaders for the whole Foundation.
Jacqueline Paris first joined the Stephen Perse Foundation in 2005 as the Head of Chemistry. After a spell as the Head of Sixth Form Science, she became the Head of the International Baccalaureate Programme in 2015 and the Head of Sixth Form in September 2021.
Educated in Yorkshire and as a graduate of the University of Leeds, Jacqueline's early career was in Forensic Science and in retail management but she discovered her love of teaching following a PGCE at the University of Sheffield in 1991 and has taught in a range of schools and colleges since then including Hitchin Girls' School in Hertfordshire where she was also a Governor. In 2016, Jacqueline was commissioned by Cambridge University Press to produce a workbook to support the IB Diploma Chemistry Syllabus. She is currently working on the second edition which is due for publication in early 2022.
