Across our schools, we have developed a collaborative approach to leadership. Each Head leads their own school, whilst also engaging with colleagues to be leaders for the whole Foundation.
Head of 11-18
Stephen Ward
Stephen has been a member of the Senior Leadership Team at the Stephen Perse Foundation since 2018 and was appointed as Head 11-18 in September 2022. Previous to this Stephen was Senior Deputy Head 11-18.
Stephen works closely with the Principal, Executive team and the Board of Governors overseeing, developing and improving the quality of education offered to 11-18 pupils.
In addition to the role of Senior Deputy Head, he has held various other senior leadership positions during his career, including Deputy Head Academic and Head of Sixth Form.
Stephen has also taught at Cambridge University, supervising Mathematics, and co-authored over twenty Mathematics textbooks for A Level and the International Baccalaureate.
He holds Masters degrees in both Mathematics and in Mathematics Education from Trinity College, Cambridge.
